Searched the forums (and the web) and have come up dry. Hopefully this post will make all the difference...

I have a Acesonic AM-828 that I used to have connected to my Windows XP pc. I have recently 'converted' and bought an Apple Macbook Pro. I would like to now connect my Macbook to my Acesonic. Trouble is, I'm not getting anything... I have the USB cord connected in the same manner as I did my Windows PC but I'm not getting any sound. I'm not even getting any registering on the audio signal meter. What gives?

Any help is most appreciated!

You may want to check the sound settings. I know the sound source has to change to USB for MS based PCs

I've been experimenting with my setup up and have amazingly gotten the Macbook to work on the AM-828. On the Macbook, when I plug in the USB connection, I have to make sure that I have selected the USB output on the sound settings (which only comes up when the USB connection is made).

So, maybe Acesonic can update there information.

Thats great. I will let the right people know about this. As far as I know, there isn't specific software made to be used with the Macbook so they may have to double check to make sure it is 100% compatible and make sure it works with all Apple computers before updating their info.

In any case, great find and thanks for the update.
