Opening a karaoke box

Hi. I'm considering opening a karaoke box in my area. Any suggestions on the type of equipment I'd need? I want it to be computer based, so obviously a server and a backup, but what else would be required?

Of course you'd need monitors, mixing amplifiers, speakers and microphones in each room too. Those are the requirements to sing but I'd highly recommend some DJ lights in each room to help set the atmosphere.

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I plan on having the DJ lights, mirrored balls, etc.

Do you guys have a package deal for a 5 (or more) room box? If not, any recommendations on the mixers, amps, mics, etc?

As far as the monitors, would an LCD TV work?

We can definitely work with you and might be able to put a package deal together. We can help you choose the right equipment for your size rooms. An LCD should work fine. We've been bundling LCD TV's with some of our packages for quite some time.

Let me know if you need some help. It is a big project and we can definitely get you started the right way.
